Who are the Friends of McKinley Park?

We are a group of volunteers with a mission to revitalize historical McKinley Park of Tacoma, WA.

What is McKinley Park?

Named after President McKinley, this 26.7 acre historical park located at 907 Upper Park St., Tacoma, WA includes paved walkways, scenic forests and views, hiking trails, playground and skate park.

Clean-Up Work Parties:

Meet down at the new playground and restrooms off of McKinley Ave. at 9am to noon for each event (500 E McKinley Way, Tacoma, WA 98404). Metro Parks will provide all of the necessary tools and equipment. Volunteers need to dress for the weather and have work gloves.

Volunteers will be assigned to work in specific areas removing invasive and non-native plants such as English Ivy and blackberry bushes. See you there!
